This depends on a few factors. If there are contents items that have been directly affected by Fire, smoke or water, these items will be assessed. If they are deemed BER (Beyond Economical Repair) they will be listed and the list sent to the insurers. They can then authorise us to dispose of the items. If items are restorable then these will be photographed, listed and taken away for restoration. If items are undamaged but could potentially degrade if left in certain conditions then removals and storage can be arranged with ourselves.
